# Do I need to pay another $3 to renew my ABC Alcohol Server Certification

Yes, the $3 exam fee is required for you to renew your certification.

If you do not pass, you will be required to retake training, pay another $3 exam fee, and pass the exam.

You can find more information on [California’s Responsible Beverage Server Program website](https://www.abc.ca.gov/education/rbs/), including a section on frequently asked questions.
