# I bought the Food Manager exam. Now I have to schedule a proctor right?

At AAA, there's **NO NEED TO SCHEDULE** a specific date or time to take the Certified Food Protection Manager exam. Our Proctors are available 24/7. You'll receive clear, detailed instructions outlining everything you need to know before starting at the end of your training courses. Once you've confirmed that your system meets all the requirements, simply click the "**Start Exam**" button to be connected to a live proctor.

1. Click on **“Launch”** in the **“Connect with Remote Proctor for Exam - English Exam Only - MEDU”** course. There you will find detailed instructions on the process. We recommend you take a moment to read them carefully.

2\. In the upper right corner, click "**Start Exam**"

3. Read the instructions and check the boxes, then click the green "Start exam" button.

You’ll be redirected to a new window to enter your contact details and begin a chat with a proctor. They usually join within a few minutes, but during busy times, please allow **10–15 minutes**.
